I recently stayed at a charming hostel in the heart of the historic center for my Bumba meu boi celebrations. The location was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the city center and main square on foot without feeling unsafe. The hostel itself was housed in a stunning, authentic building with high ceilings and spacious rooms. The bed was one of the comfiest I've slept in, and the dorm provided lockers, plug points, and lights for each bed. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options including eggs and fruits. I also appreciated the clean pool, although it was temporarily closed due to the reggae stage being set up on it. I would highly recommend this hostel and would definitely stay there again.
